Blaze launch official app

Genting Casino Coventry Blaze are pleased to announce the launch of a brand new smartphone app, developed by Podium Apps.

The new app, which is available on both iPhone and Google Android smart phones allows fans to keep up with all of the latest Blaze news, check out our social networks, view fixtures, purchase tickets and watch/listen to all of the interviews and other features in one place.

Not only that but if you hit the logo in the app banner at the top, you’ll be greeted with a bleed blue flash screen which fans can use during ‘black-out’ prior to every game.

Just search for 'Coventry Blaze' in the relevant app store or use the below links:

Blaze Media Manager Rob Plaister said, “We’ve been working with Kieran from Podium Apps for some time now to get the app just how we wanted it. We believe the app to be easy to navigate, and hopefully fans will find it visually appealing. More than anything though, we want users to find the app useful. For us, it’s a way to help keep our fans fully up-to-date with all of the latest Blaze news and hopefully feel well connected with the club, having all of our social media and multimedia quickly available all in one place.”

Further developments, updates and improvements will be made over the coming weeks, some already planned, others based on the feedback from fans.

The following updates are set to come shortly:

  • Pictures of merchandise
  • Full player profiles in roster section
  • Blaze Talk to include most recent clips now that we have moved to Spreaker
  • News to display within app itself
  • Links to match reports etc in results section

Genting Casino Coventry Blaze would like to thank Kieran and Podium Apps for the hard work in the development of the app.

Rob Plaister concluded, “In addition to Kieran, I’d like to say thank you to my media team colleague Craig Summerton for his help in getting the app to where it is and also to the Blaze Management, Andy Buxton, Mike Cowley and James Pease for supporting the project financially.”
