Danny Stewart in-depth interview

Yesterday the Genting Casino Coventry Blaze were pleased to announce the appointment of Danny Stewart as Head Coach ahead of the 2016/17 season (read the announcement).

The 37 year-old Canadian returns to the club where he won three Elite League Championships, the Challenge Cup and a Knock-Out Cup following a six year absence, during which he was Head Coach of the now defunct Newcastle Vipers and Player/Associate Coach of the Fife Flyers.

To end the most recent season, Stewart hung up his skates holding the record for most all-time games played by an import in Elite League competitions.

Elite League Media Consultant Seth Bennett took time to speak in depth to Danny about his next chapter in Coventry, the type of team he is looking to build, what he feels are his strengths as a coach and also his expectations for the season and beyond:
