Prior to that, Peca spent two seasons in France with Epinal and Caen from 2014-16 totalling 48 league and post-season matches with 13 goals, 19 assists equalling 32 points.

Before turning pro, the Canadian spend four years at the Nipissing University (USports) where he amassed 116 appearances, scoring 46 times with 44 assists for 90 points.

Peca's junior career was spent between Mississauga Chargers, Georgetown Raisers and Vaughan Vipers where notably in 2008/09 he hit 44 regular season goals, a OJHL Vipers record including 5 in a single game, the most in their history. That same year, he was awarded the Mackinnon Division Most Improved Player and appeared in the OJHL All-Star Game.

The Blaze hope to have Peca in the line-up for the game vs. Guildford Flames on Saturday 13th January.

Head Coach Danny Stewart said, "He will bring a bit of speed to our line-up and the ability to play both positions helps us with injury cover. With (Garrett) Ladd, (Edgars) Bebris and (Patrik) Moisio leaving we've been looking to fill that tenth forward spot again. I think he'll provide some quality, competition and depth which will be crucial in the second half of the season. We're excited to get him in the line-up."

Dorian Peca commented, "After speaking with Coach Stewart I had a good sense of what the club was all about, and it was clear that Coventry was the right fit for me. It's a great opportunity and I'm looking forward to meeting the team, staff, and fans. I chose The Elite League because it's getting better every year and it is a well respected league in Europe. As a player, I'm a centreman who can play the wing if needed. I think I have a pretty good shot and hopefully it will help me contribute to the teams offence. I'm excited to arrive in Coventry and be a part of the Blaze!"
