Statement on recent Blaze webcast issues

The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze would like to apologise to all of our webcast customers last night vs. Sheffield Steelers and previously vs. Milton Keynes Lightning on the 11th February.

For both, the internet signal in the Skydome Arena failed during the game, meaning our webcast provider Clean Cut Sports were unable to reliably offer the usual excellent online stream for the entirety of each fixture.

Without sufficient broadband signal, Clean Cut Sports are unable to carry out the duties contracted to them by the club.

After the Milton Keynes game, testing was carried out during the week in the run up to the Sheffield fixture, with success - however, on the night, the internet connection again failed resulting in viewers missing at least the final 5 minutes of regulation time.

This is something we are sorry for and we are in consultation with the broadband suppliers to resolve the issues faced as soon as possible.

As a club, we are extremely proud of our webcast and the product provided by Clean Cut Sports. Over almost eight years in partnership, and every home game covered, there are less than a handful of times where the service has not been able to be delivered to ours and Clean Cut Sports' high standards.

We thank all webcast customers and Clean Cut Sports for their understanding, and we will keep fans up to date with progress as to when the next webcast will be available, we hope this Saturday vs. Guildford Flames.
