Noble to represent Team Canada again in Australia
Genting Casino Coventry Blaze defenceman Kevin Noble will again represent Team Canada at the Ice Hockey Classic in Australia.
Appearing for the first time last summer, Noble helped Team Canada to a 3-2 series win over Team USA.
This year, the series which helps to raise awareness and funds for the STOPCONCUSSIONS Foundation in association with Brain Injury Australia, has been reduced from five to two games, to be held in Sydney (Saturday 17th June) and Melbourne (Saturday 24th June).
In addition, this past Wednesday, an exhibition game between the two was played in Newcastle, Australia.
Joining Noble on the Canada roster will be former Blaze forward Kevin Harvey, who has been a regular at the event.
Team USA will also feature well-known names to Elite League fans with Joe Fallon of Dundee Stars last season and Michael Forney of Belfast Giants and Sheffield Steelers icing in the series.
Everyone at Coventry Blaze would like to wish Kevin all the very best for his participation in the 2017 Ice Hockey Classic.
